Q: How will the new program be different from AllianceOne?
A: As a new company, HPE is offering a brand new partner program and it’s different from anything HPE has offered in the past. The program’s structure and focus will ensure that partners have a predictable partner experience with HPE regardless of which HPE business units they are working with. Alignment and support from the business units’ teams is the key to partner success as part of this new program.

Q: Do existing AllianceOne members need to sign up for the program, or are they pre-registered?
A: Existing AllianceOne members will be required to apply for the new program and sign a new contract. All existing AllianceOne members will be notified of the new program and provided with instructions on how to apply.

Q: What happens to my AllianceOne membership? When will it end?
A: AllianceOne members can continue to use the existing AllianceOne portal until December 31st 2016. Existing AllianceOne members will be required to apply for the new program and sign a new contract. Q: Will AllianceOne Specialized Programs come to an end, too?
A: An AllianceOne member can continue to use the AllianceOne portal until December 31st 2016. The specialized programs will continue with a new structure and focus that will ensure that partners have a predictable partner experience with HPE regardless of which HPE business units/specialized program they are working with. Existing AllianceOne members will be required to apply for the new program and sign a new contract. All existing AllianceOne members will be notified of the new program and provided with instructions on how to apply.

Q: What about partners currently using TestDrive to conduct testing, will they continue to have access to it?
A: Any AllianceOne members who wish to request a TestDrive service must complete this before December 1st, 2016. To continue future access, you must join the new Partner Ready for Technology Partner Program before January 1st, 2017 or earlier.

Q: How can I continue to get to get access to HPE Patch Access (you must be signed in to access this link)
A: Current AllianceOne members can continue to access and download patches at no cost until December 31st 2016 in the same manner as they do today.  AllianceOne members will need to contact the HPE Support Centre and purchase a support contract to access and receive patch updates going forward.
